A protest march against the ABVP’s fascist assault and vandalism was held by the University Community on the on 7th November, starting from Vivekananda statue, Arts Faculty of Delhi University. A large number of students and teachers from Delhi University were joined by JNU and Jamia students, and a march of more than 600 people traversed all colleges in the North Campus raising slogans.

Bail Application filed on behalf of 63 workers of ’Graziano Transmissioni’, who were arrested on 22.9.2008, on the charge of murder of Chief Executive Officer of the said company, Lalit Kishore Chaudhary, has been rejected by the Court of Sessions at Noida (Gautam Budhha Nagar), Uttar Pradesh. It is noteworthy that out of these 63 workers only 19 were in fact named in the First Information Report, got lodged by the employers themselves.
