All India Kisan Sabha congratulates the millions of people who participated in the historic Kisan Mazdoor Parade across the country. Around the National Capital Region lakhs of tractors and other vehicles participated in the parade after hoisting the national flag, singing the national anthem and paying homage to the martyrs.

She was the first woman in Sri Lankan politics after Kumari Jayawardena to build an awareness on the role of woman and of her ‘traditional’ position, uniting academic work and politics. She is an anthropologist, and a feminist activist. Her activism and scholarly interests were in understanding militarization, motherhood, and the role of memories in the context of nationalist histories.

The Kisan Sansad, which was held on 23rd and 24th of January, 2021 at the Guru Teg Bahadur Memorial at Singhu, Delhi, had a wide variety of participants from different stakeholders in the agri-policy space.

The Left parties demand that the central government must stop being obstinate and immediately convey to the farmers unions that these agri laws will be repealed in the forthcoming budget session of parliament that is meeting this week.
