Media warchdog Ofcom said claims made on Yoga for You – broadcast on the Zee Network’s Lamhe channel – by presenter Dr Pankaj Naram could lead cancer sufferers to delay or forgo treatment.

Since 25 July 2015, hundreds of dalits and adivasis have started an indefinite dharna in Robertsgunj Tehsil, Sonebhadr, Uttar Pradesh till those members of the All India Union of Forest Working People (AIUFWP) are not released who have been arrested arbitrarily. In this context, PUDR condemns the ongoing attacks by the state police and land mafia against the protesters who have been agitating against the construction of the Kanhar Dam project in Sonebhadra district for the past seven months. The arrest of Roma Malik, Sukalo Panika, Gambheera Prasad, Pankaj Gautam, Laxman, and Ashrafi Yadav of the AIUFWP is the latest demonstration of such terror tactics.
